Personal Care

Tender Care can provide a range of personal care services to assist you in regards to age, disability, injury or illness. Our experienced in-house personal carers will make a much improved  difference to your daily routine. 

Our staff are dignified and gentle and tasks are carried out in comfort and privacy. These services include mobility/getting in and out of bed, dressing and undressing, showering, toileting, personal grooming including shaving, make up application and hair care. 

Chronic Disease Care

Dealing with a chronic illness can be physically challenging and mentally and emotionally draining for you and your family. At Tender Care we understand and are able to provide the right kind of home nursing services and personal care. This might include complex nursing care, healthy meal preparation, transportation to appointments with health professionals or access to support and social groups. 

We develop a tailored nursing plan for you and update it as your condition or preferences change. We provide support for many people with chronic illnesses including cerebral palsy, motor neuron disease, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, heart disease and cystic fibrosis.

Respite Care

The team at Tender Care are here to give you a breather and our Respite Care service is designed to give you a break from your ongoing care responsibilities.

Our in home respite team gives carers time to rest and re-energise, with peace of mind that your loved one is being looked after.

Respite can be accessed on a regular bases or from time-to-time and can be enjoyed at home or in the community. We are able to provide companionship at home or on outings, preparing and serving of meals, housework and general help around the house, personal care and grooming, as well as shopping and running errands.

Our care can be offered day or night, overnight or on weekends. 

Palliative Care

Tender Care provides Palliative Care services allowing you to spend time at home with the people you love and care about the most. We help to fulfil your wishes and support your loved ones through this difficult time. 

he staff at Tender Care will help with your changing personal and medical needs, providing a peaceful, respectful and pain free Environment. Our service to you is flexible, we can be there 24 hours a day or fill the gaps depending on how involved  your loved ones wish to be during this time. 

Some of the services we offer within Palliative Care include medication administration, wound care and bedsore management, continence management, ongoing supervision from experienced staff as well as assisted living services including general housekeeping, domestic duties and meal preparation. 

Aged and Elderly Care

Tender Care provides Aged and Elderly Care for people wanting to remain in their own home. We ensure our clients are comfortable, safe and all their medical needs are fully met.

Our team will meet with you and your loved ones to identity your needs and make sure we have all the information to make decisions about your home care options. We provide many options and adjust our support depending on your needs. 

Some of our services include mobility and transfers, ongoing active supervision from an experienced registered nurse care coordinator, liaison and cooperation with medical and allied health professionals, ongoing support and advice to loved ones and 24-hour back-up from on-call nurse. 

Dementia Care

Memory loss and confusion make it difficult for people with dementia to remain in their homes. The specially trained caregivers at Tender Care have the skills to help you maintain your independence while remaining safe in your home and allowing your family much needed respite and support.

Tender Care can offer a wide range of dementia support services including showering, dressing and grooming, prompting to take medication, shopping, errands and preparing meals, cleaning services, socialisation and community access as well as 24 hour and overnight care. 

Post-Operative Care

Tender Care offers Post-Operative Care to help you get back on your feet after an illness or injury. Our team will work with you to develop a recovery plan to suit your needs and wants.  

Some of our services include transportation to and from appointments, personal care, house work and meal preparation. 

Post-Hospital Care

Tender Care has a specialised team for Post-Hospital Care. Our team will met with you and your loved ones to develop a plan covering your needs and goals. Our goal is to improve your health, and help you make a timely return to a fulfilling and productive life. 

Some of our services include transportation and transfers, specialised nursing care from trained and experienced registered nurses, ongoing support and advice to loved ones, liaison and cooperation with medical and allied health professionals as well as general housekeeping, meal preparation and companionship. 

Assistance For New Mothers

Tender Care has a dedicated team to help assist new mothers when they return home from hospital with their beautiful baby. 

The team will provide advice and support for caring for the baby as well as ensuring the Mother recovers completely from giving birth. 

Our services include specialised nursing care for both the mother and baby from a trained and experienced registered nurse as well as general housekeeping, meal preparation and companionship. 

24 Hour Care

At some stage you or a family member may require 24 hour care due to illness or injury. Live in care provides peace of mind and comfort for you and your loved ones.
